My goal and intention for every client I see is to address the needs of the client, whether it is a specific area or areas that need extra attention or they simply want an overall relaxing experience. I will do my best to insure that you feel refreshed, rejuvenated, and relaxed at the end of your session and hopefully you will continue to reap the rewards long after your session has ended!
I chose Massage Therapy because I've always enjoyed helping others, working with my hands, and being creative. Being a Massage Therapist allows me to do all three! After receiving my Bachelors in Psychology from Kalamazoo College in 2008, I took a few years to work and get some experience in the mental health and counseling fields. However, as time went on, I found myself no longer as passionate about pursuing a career in mental health, but wanted to still work in a field that helps others not only deal, but heal from lifes' stresses, anxieties, and the common day to day aches, pains and strains people encounter in life. For me, Massage Therapy was the logical answer! I can now assist people with reducing their physical stress and tension, help them heal and recover from injuries, and be a listening ear which can in itself promote emotional health!
I enjoy a variety of music genres, art, film, dance, and food! I love to draw and read in my spare time, and would love to travel the world as learning about various cultures is another big passion of mine.
